A maingame-related error on DT benchmark

Hi there. My friend wanted to try out the official Dawntrail benchmark to see how his computer handles it. He doesn't have a subscription active at the moment, but I know that you can load your character data into the character creator even without the sub so I told him that he can at least try to see how his WoL would look like with the graphics update.

Unfortunately, he ran into the issues of it refusing to launch properly... while giving this error message that I have only seen pop out for the main game. And it happened when he pressed "character creator" or "start" buttons.

Should we be concerned? And how can we resolve this issue if it would, in fact, affect the game? He can't test if his full game would work or not, he doesn't want to renew the sub to find out (it's expensive).

The benchmark got downloaded onto C drive at first while his game was in D. He redownloaded it to D. I am not sure if it could've corrupted something in the main game (hopefully no), but I am still going to provide this info.
