FC Issue

I made a free company a while back and due to cutting costs I had dropped ffxiv for an extended time. I was not aware of the lead role changing to other players if you are offline for a certain period of time and now that I have come back it is frustrating to manage the FC now that the new lead role was passed to a player that plays on another server exclusively.
Its been a week and they have logged in once since that time and remain on another server. Its impossible to reach them since I don't have access to the FC when visiting that data center, the frequency of when they are online is unpredictable, and I can't friend/whisper them since they are not in my home server.

I've submitted two tickets to the in game helpdesk but this issue isn't a bug so I have not heard from anyone. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to receive help or feedback on this issue but my FC is dead and the current role that can do anything to edit the FC is constantly offline in another data center.

Unfortunately, you will have to directly contact the new FC leader.

Since leadership was automatically changed by the system, the new leader now owns it and unless they willingly hand it back to you, there is nothing you can do.
I would note the leaders name and travel to the DC and World they're on (can check by clicking on their name in the FC list) and do a search.

Otherwise, you might want to leave that FC and start a new one.
Just remember that leadership is automatically passed after 35 days of not logging in.

The GMs in the game will not help you with this. Your only recourse is to find a way to contact the new FC leader or leave and start another FC on your own.
The rules and limitations are listed in the game and the onus is on you to understand how the systems work.

Do you have a house or a large amount of gil in the FC chest?

Cause if the answer is "No" to either or both of those, I'd just leave and make a new FC.
