Female Hyur Face 1

My Wife was in Tears today. She mostly plays F Hyur with Face 1 wich is now unrecognizable. In Fact, if you give them different Hair they look like 2 different Faces alltogether. It is even worse on darker skin colors.

Before: She looked like a young and kind Lady being happy about her life.

After: BLANK STARE I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL

For a moment, she thought of not playing Dawntrail at all which hit me like a truck. Luckily i convinced her to give Bunnies or Au Ra a Try.

I also wanna point out how the new Face just melts into the Neck as if there was no Chin.

I noticed it when they did the previews at fanfest. I'd be lying if I said I wasnt disappointed. At least the grass moves now though like it has in WoW since like at least BFA lol

The eyes look like the character is a soulless shell now

I feel my midlander will be totally ruined by these changes.
I tried running the character creation and benchmark with 0, 50, 100 gamma correction and yet she still looks ugly to me from every angle, in every lightning i see.

1. Dead stare.
2. Uncanny waxy glow on the skin.
3. Don't like the new lips.
4. Eyebrows are lighter and look like they are painted with a pen and starting to fade away already.
5. Jaw and neck melts together.

Yes for some reason it is worse on dark skin. The old Features are completely lost.

This… especially the Lalas! But almost everyone looks like they got new teeth and are struggling to adjust! Seems like the lips had better definition before the update, although some of the colors got stronger or weaker depending on character race.

With my Hyur (Midlander face 1), I’m torn… it’s definitely different, but I’m wondering if they changed the entire architecture/structure of the mouth somehow, because certain emotes in the random stances on the character creator look different to me. Like the goofy smile she makes in the pose emote… actually looks not as odd as it used to.

I probably spent a good 3 hours in character creator yesterday… I’m just trying to remind myself that I never like my character in any of the scenes you can choose in the creator. There’s always something I find to adjust later. Wish they were giving us a 3-pack of Fantasia!
