One of the opening cinematic suddenly disappeared

One of the opening cinematics, the one currently playing for me (Answers) when I go AFK in the menu, suddenly disappeared. It started with the launcher taking about 5 times as long "Checking Final Fantasy XIV" once I logged in, and then I noticed that when the cinematic was supposed to play, it just faded to black for a split second, and immediately went back to the regular menu, trying to activate it manually via the menu does the same thing. All other intro cinematics work.

Right before it happened, I had been messing around with different audio devices for Windows, and before launching, I was testing a new APO for my audio. Yet it still does not work, despite that APO no longer being on.

It also makes me worry that this is merely the top of the iceberg, and that other stuff might be gone too.

I even restored game data, but it did not work.

edit: it suddenly fixed itself out of nowhere, after changing different audio devices back and forth. I have no idea why that should have any impact on whether a cinematic plays or not, haha.
