Benchmark- Male Elezen Feedback

While I am largely pleased with the overall quality of the updated character graphics shown in the Dawntrail benchmark, there was one cause for concern that I have as someone who plays a male Elezen. It is particularly noticeable with Face 3.



The upper row of images are taken from the character creation in the current version of FFXIV, patch 6.55, and the bottom row are taken from the benchmark. In the game currently, male Wildwood and Duskwight Elezen have visibly different skin textures around their eyes, with Wildwoods having dark circles and Duskwights lacking them. But in the benchmark, that shading has been standardized to the same. As a Duskwight player, part of my choice was informed by their lack of those dark circles, and I am disappointed to see them looking identical on both clans.

This standardization has also taken place with the other male Elezen faces, but less dramatically so. I've documented the changes in images for the sake of reference:
