How dusty my character's skin looks. They said they'll let us have the old limbal ring brightness as an option so I'm holding out hope for that, because I don't like how dark and blended her eyes look now. But her skin looks covered in a layer of chalk dust and there's nothing that can fix it on my end.

The odd swings in the saturation of character's skintones is something I picked up on in a lot of the preview material right away! Overall, everything seemed so cool-toned -- until the setting in the CC shifted (i.e. clouds moving), then a little bit of color seemed to return. Then, in the benchmark itself, there were moments where my character's skin became SO saturated that it almost looked orange. And, as always, the darker your skin is, the more noticeable it becomes. I wonder if there is a way they could make the skintones less reactive to ambient light? Say, if it were on a fader, lessen the strength of shift from the original tone...

I'd like to add after fighting with colors for a long time thinking that's what the problem is - Her lips look clownish now because there's no more definition on the texture around them (i.e. that faux shadow below the bottom lip that was present on face 4 and is totally gone now because the lipstick layer now extends over it) - I believe they got rid of these details thinking the new lighting would create the definition - but it fails to do so in direct sunlight or in shade - and I'm talking about in the cinematic not in the character creator. This is overlooking how drastically this changes the shape of the lips, too.

And I know what happened. Our lipstick didn't use to cover what appeared to be the entirety of our lips on face 4. This gave the impression of definition below the lower lip. Maybe you can say it was an accident, but it looked nice. With the lipstick layer now covering that, it looks incredibly strange, flat, and clownish from a distance in the cinematic - I will say, if we could use a rich, dark lipstick color, it would look better, but we're not allowed to use vibrant lipstick colors for some reason, even though other races can. And not everyone wants to wear vibrant red lipstick all the time.

I know the devs worked very hard on this. And they did a beautiful job. Her scales are so pretty, her horns are amazing, her new nose is cute. But they're driving me mad with the lips. This is NOT a "bad lighting in CC" issue. The area of the lipstick coverage has been entirely altered and definition has been lost. I'm really sorry they worked so hard and are receiving these complaints. But please look at this. You can't tell me this looks right. This isn't in the character creator lighting. I don't think we can call this a scaling issue. I've tried no lipstick, paler lipstick, nothing makes the clownish tuberculosis look go away.

Again, I'm very sorry I have complaints. I'm sorry some people are being mean. They shouldn't be. I know the devs worked so hard on this. A lot of it is completely stunning! Most of my friends love their WoLs! But please understand how different this looks outside of Character Creator. This is a texture issue, not a lighting or scaling issue.

Just to make it extra clear, for people with bad eyes, I'm talking about this being gone. We need an option to have this back.

And to make it extra extra clear because people keep telling me they look the same, here's an outline!
