Square Enix reported a drop of 27% in operational profits from July through Sept 2024, with an even sharper decrease of 89% net profit, causing stock price to fall by 12.37%.

Q1 fiscal year April-Sept showed +22% of operational profit, but July and Sept. was a huge decrease.

They've had 5 years on Female Viera and Male Hroth and they've barely done anything in regards to hair and hats, they haven't even fulfilled their original promises of additional unique hair to make up for the lack of hats. If in 5 years they have done so little, I have absolutely no faith in them to deliver at all. They fixed the 2B butt "issue" in no-time whatsoever, and it was level 1 non-issue leggings. They don't care about us. They don't care about their on integrity or quality of work. They deserve a shitty quarter and more.

It's crazy how many people keep thinking hiring people is easy. Make me wonder how many here actually have worked jobs with specialized skill sets. Not forgetting SE already has the majority of devs versed in MMO in Japan and it's not like they can easily drop the requirement for knowing business level Japanese.

Unless you know the player base is willing to give 2 more years of turmoil.

That's not the issue as SE stated from the very start and before it's release that it wouldn't be able to wear all the headpieces or hair and the players were fine about this. BUT SE also stated that they would work on converting pieces over throughout the patches and creating new hairstyles after it's release THIS is what hasn't happened / very sporadic.
