The devs are so stingy with curves for god knows what reason, it’s not an issue worth putting on the table. Perhaps it’s walking the tight rope so as not to offend one’s overly sensitive to the matter of over-sexualization, I dunno. Is what it is.

My only observation is that, unless they deal with the height issue, rp wise, just as with your squeaky miqote counterparts, you s h o r t e r hroth fem kitties are still gonna get bullied by your taller femroe overlords, so get thy collars ready hahaha.

It's true though. Since xiv has so little flavor in terms of races they force things like "barely any boobs on this race, lots on this one. No height on this race, a lot on this one." Slider's the only real difference in xiv when it comes to race, according to how square enix designs them. Look at the male viera fiasco; they could've been tall like their female counterparts but square enix was scared that it would take away male elezen's height status, even though male au ra already took that away from male elezen.

They have so little faith that their visual design alone, it's frankly sad.

If I had to guess I would say the reason is probably a combination of 1. body sliders causing issues with the armor system and 2. any sliders added will be taken to the extreme and they don't want gruesome PSO2 abominations running around, which I absolutely agree with.

The extremes should never be used to remove options. No one's asking for extremes, most are asking for real life proportions.

As someone who regularly plays PSO2(:NGS), I vouch this and also agree that I'm thankful that we won't have those with extreme/wacky proportions running around.

Objection!
Before a butt slider they need to fix the chest slider for female characters; as has been pointed out throughout the thread, the chest slider's broken for most gear.

Interestingly I've been seeing more and more chest glamours/gear where the chest slider works. So they're definitely aware that the slider setting doesn't work unless they force it through coding.

If I remember correctly chest slider doesn't work unless you use race specific gear like starter gear. So they have to use code to force the slider on universal glamour. We need to get them to force this code on all female gear.

OK I ignored your comment cause, who in the right mind just vetos or denies another agreeing with the idea of expanded slider.

Like, we ain't saying no, we supporting both ends and all other good things and stuff.

So I just thought, that's kinda weird, but I'll just ignore it since it doesn't mean anything in the long run.

Elezen don't have anything to fight for when it comes to height, as they are outclassed by Roes. People love Elezen for who they are, and those who play it do so cause they are, as they are.

Not cause another races male isn't taller than it.

Some limitations are dumb, we all agree.
(Like personally, if given larger slider length, and an Ass Slider, I wouldn't Deny, and would actively admit its stay 100% or 200% if possible within "looks great" range)

So you're for limitations and then at the same time you're not? Just because some like "insert race" limitations doesn't mean that giving an option that removes this limitation is bad.

You didn't understand what I wrote. It was clear that I stated this is the mentality that goes behind square enix designing xiv's races. As you can see female hrothgar has almost no chest because that's something they want to preserve for female roe as that's the closest thing female race they look like. They did the same thing with male hrothgar with the hunch and slim waist.

Well, using your argument about "short kings" when referring to male viera I'll go ahead and say some of us love our flat chested queens when referring to female hrothgar.

I'd really love a toggle or something for Face 3's fangs, they're an ugly dark brownish black color that makes no sense when every other face has pearly whites, one of the eye facial features is entirely pointless so why not replace it with a fang toggle? Otherwise I love Face 3, even the weirdly 'gemstone-ish' facial horns/spikes they have instead of tattoos.

WHY FACE#3 has Dark Fangs and not pearly-white fangs like all the other face options?
Are they rotten fangs??
