Monk all the way baby. ;o Though, My secondary would be ThiefI'd like to see Viking in this game too, as a branch off of Marauder.
I would too, but I'd like some from FFT like Arithmetician and some others that have a very unique concept compared to any other class in the world of MMOs.
One of the ideas I had was for Musketeer to be a class and Cannoneer to be the Job. Cannoneer was in FFTA2 and is AOE ranged + Debuff/Enfeeble. Musketeer would be single target + debuff, so I like to think of Musketeer/Cannoneer as the ranged version of Marauder/Warrior except doing less damage and more debuffing.
As for the other, Musketeer>>Corsair, That can be done as well but I want to see some Job diversity from FFXI. I'd like this game to steer clear of FFXI as much as possible, not because I don't like FFXI (Which, I do like), but because this is an entirely different game and needs to be seen that way. FFXI is still alive, and still available for people to play.
I'd just like to see some new jobs with entirely new concepts, nothing original to FFXIV exactly, but just not too much borrowed from FFXI. I'd like FFXI to still be a desirable MMORPG, not try to get everyone to play FFXIV.
Why is Templar knight not on here from final Fantasy tactics would it not be awesome to use skills like aegis and gaffin?? sword breaker armor breaker sword skills now that would be an epic fun class.I would too, but I'd like some from FFT like Arithmetician and some others that have a very unique concept compared to any other class in the world of MMOs.

I tried to stick to Jobs that have been used more than once in the series for the list. As for the FFT hero jobs that only one character could play, if I wanted to add all of those the list would be like over 100. Yes, I agree, Orlandu was a bad ass mofo, but his Sword Saint is really hardly a canonical FF job in my opinion. He's the only character that can use that "Job", and there are tons of unique job titles that enemies and named group members have specific to them in FFT.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
Having to decide between Beastmaster and Dragoon is a challenge. Augh. Went with DRG, though.
PLD forever.
Cecil was such a great character.
I'm really sad that FF XI and XIV don't allow the job to shine properly.
DRK forever!
Cecil was such a great character....
