Dawntrail Benchmark Crashing

System: windows 11 Pro ver.10.0.22631
CPU: intel Core i9-14900K
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

Game windows would pop up for a few seconds then close itself. Drivers are updated to latest and I can play the FFXIV and other games just fine. Tried tweaking hardware overclock/underclock to no avail.

I've been trying for hours and nothing worked. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Win 11 pro, 14700kf with 4070Ti here and no issues. Have you tried to redownload it, it may have corrupted.

If so, put the settings on minimum and slowly put it up to see what may be causing the issue.

I have the same processor and a 4080 here and no issues at all, which I know doesn't help you, but I'd say the same as the previous person did, remove and redownload.

Yep, in the Technical support forum we are talking about this too. Same error as OP here and my specs are:

- Windows 11 with directx12
- ssd
- 32Gb ram
- 11th gen Intel core i7-11800H @ 2.30Ghz
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU (VRAM 8018)

I've tried to lower the benchmark settings to the minimum too, redownload the benchmark, reinstall it again, updated my graphic drivers, reboot my system, made sure to have all my system updates to date... it does exactly the same as says OP

Of course I can play Endwalker and have no problem with any other game.

Launching as Admin made this work for me. Crashed every time I tried to open it until I selected launch as Admin.

just done sfc /scan fix everything, still can't run

I have the exact same processor, graphics card, and windows version as you and have the same issue. Won't start even on the lowest graphics settings. Graphics driver is up to date and nothing is overclocked. I've read recently there is an issue with gen 13/14 intel cpus causing VRAM issus but not sure if that is source.

Keeps crashing for me. I've downloaded it reinstalled it and it still does it.I realized m pc Is nowhere near as good as others But it will play the first scene and then it crashes While trying to load past the title screen.

I also crash a few seconds into the benchmark cutscene. I have the following setup:

I looked at my Event Viewer when it crashed and saw that the application that was crashing was GameManagerService3.exe which is used for Razer Synapse to manage the games installed on your system. I found this link on Razer's forums to disable the service but it didn't work for me. I'm about to uninstall Razer Synapse and see if the benchmark works but it may affect my peripherals.
