I play Hyur and switch sometimes and this was one of the reasons I loved face 2 was her lips/mouth. It does seem the lips look dull? and not as pretty now.
For the love of God please can you leave the thread?
You're being ridiculous
Everyone here notice the changes except you, i know it's hard to admit you are wrong, but at least, again, be respectful and accept that your perception about a character you never played is out of place.
I don't know what you are trying to do, but changes needs to be made, and you are not helping at all.
Taking the right most photos in the top example for my examination:Please everything is wrong with the hyur face 2!
This was a particular face i know and that everything !!
I don't even recognize my own character with whom i've played for 3 years!
The face is too smooth and the cheeks are too big
The nose is too big
The eyes are way off and too small
Whatever the option nothing helps !!
It was an angular face and it stood out with the rest of the hyur faces that looked like dolls!!
I'm at the point i'm not even excited for Dawntrail anymore i don't even want to play the game!!
edit: I'm so desperate i mixed the extention in the title
- Hair style is missing some of the "tuft" in the back, or looks thinner at least.
- Eyebrows look relatively the same, maybe a bit lighter?
- Eyes have been made wider/larger or the new makeup is giving off the appearance of that, dead eyes
- Cheeks are puffier/chubbier
- Nose is wider
- Philtrum is more well defined
- Lips are larger/fuller or lipstick is giving off that effect
- Chin looks reshaped (I guess is the word I'd use)...more angular?
To me it kind of looks like they just smooshed everything down a bit and made the head smaller and rounder in the cheeks especially.

It's true that while I do not find the change ugly.. They are not the same characters. Mine have the same issue and look much Younger, which juste doesn't fit her vibe anymore ?
The face seems larger and the eyes to far apart and the face is not as sharp as before. I would have liked to stay closer to the original face =/. Not everyone want to have a younger face.
They made way too many faces look 'happy' and they don't retain the same appeal people were going for. The skin is also just too clean and plastic looking.
It is sadly true that Fem Hyur faces have suffered a lot. The only one looking better than before is 4. My Wife used 1 and she was crying today. It is that bad.

Well i cried too, my wol is everything to me, she has so much place in my life and i adore her, but i don't know who it is anymore and i'm super hurt!
I really don't know why they changed midlander so much, they just had to smooth a bit and update the texture, we never asked for a complete change like they did!
There are things I like more and less in both the before and after shots. I find the most drastic change to be the face shape, which regardless of how much improvement there is overall, is going to make your character look completely different. The closeup picture on the left is the Benchmark version, correct? If it is, that is the one I like the most. Her face is rounder/more feminine. The lighting is obviously much better, and her eye brows are more realistic. The mole under her right eye doesn't make me think there is a piece of debris stuck to my laptop screen. Also, everyone in the game both male and female suffer from raccoon eye syndrome. It's something that drives me nuts, the updates I'm seeing looks to have improved this a good deal. However, because this is not my own character the changes are less impactful. If my own character's face shape changed this much, I also would not be very happy. Please everything is wrong with the hyur face 2!

If i wanted a more rounded face, i'd have chosen the other middie faces - face 2 was really the best for an adult looking in her 30th
