Character graphical changes are NOT in an acceptable state, please make it optional

I'm hoping for the best with the updated benchmark, but I'm also prepared for the worst. It's not just that my character looks different than before, but also somehow of lower quality?

My guess is that quality will increase, but differences will remain.
