Looking through 75-sh pages of faces there's been plenty of examples where I have thought "damn, their Dawntrail version looks way sexier" or for a few "wth I can't see any difference" but I keep those opinions to myself because it's not MY place to judge THEIR feelings about THEIR character. I know that an engine change which includes lighting and rigging is impossible to replicate 100% of an old engine, that somewhere out there someone will be left dissatisfied but they don't need to hear that from me, especially since things might change between now and DT.
