In your own opinion, it wasn't. Not everyone agrees - many feel that the changes to their characters are close enough to be perfectly acceptable. Whilst some like or prefer the changes. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and one person's opinion is no more important than another persons.

There is nothing to twist. You claimed this comment was a 'promise' of keeping the characters the same, I pointed out that it wasn't.
