Character graphical changes are NOT in an acceptable state, please make it optional

I know I'm late to the party here, but finally logged in so I could post here and join the chorus of players who are devastated with the changes to their characters. I had a bad feeling about the graphics update the moment it was mentioned but went into the benchmark with an open mind and excited to see the new looks. What I saw made me cry... None of my characters look good anymore and my two favorites, who I tweaked to (what I consider, anyway) pixel-perfect perfection just look ugly and lifeless now. My bunny looks like he has been rubbing dirt on his face all day and nothing I change in cc makes him look better. My hyur has a plastic round face now... The skin colors have all changed and none of the options are close to what they were and none look good. The lips look horrible... I tried various angles and while they look *slightly* better in the bright light it's a major downgrade in every way. Plus, they used to look good in all lights. And why do all the hyurs have freckles or dirt on their faces??? So disappointed Here are my before and after pics.

Update: I don't have a pic atm but I noticed today that they look slightly better in the shroud background, than the usual la noscea one I use in cc, so I'm hoping it really is just cc not showing them well. My hyur came out looking close to ok (except some dirty spots on her cheeks and chin) but my bun unfortunately still looked pretty bad with what looked like dirt all over his face... Really hoping their upcoming fixes make him look attractive again. He was my favorite lol
