Character graphical changes are NOT in an acceptable state, please make it optional

My original post may have been unclear.

Say there is someone else out there who happened to make a character identical to yours. The benchmark comes out and you hate it. This other person loves it and thinks their character looks perfect, they don't see any differences other than it being in HD. Who is correct?

As another example, I think Face 1 Highlander turned out fantastic. I've seen other posts that say it looks like garbage and nothing like their character. Who is correct?

Now obviously the answer is both and neither, everyone is entitled to their opinion on their own character. The thought experiment was more about how the developers respond to conflicting feedback about the same thing.

Side note, I think it's pretty silly to say someone's opinion on aesthetics is worth more just because they've played the game longer.

It seems you didn't read my message. I wasn't talking about aesthetic perception, I was talking about the accuracy of the upgrade. If facial features don't match, it's wrong. If someone liked this discrepancy, it would be logical to ask SE to add exactly this type of face and its features to the game. And for people who are accustomed to their previous facial features, return them in their original form.
It's not about aesthetics, but about a familiar appearance that many people would like to get back.

I think it's incorrect to reduce everything only to aesthetic perception, when we were all told in plain text: “your characters will look like themselves”. Nobody said that we would have to make some kind of aesthetic choice. Try to find a quote like this from Naoki Yoshida.

Why should I even consider your aesthetic taste when I choosing my character? I want to play the character I created for myself, not for you. And my requests to fix it and return it to its previous form are reasonable. Your claims to my requests are not reasonable.
Our characters have become different. Not the ones we created many years ago. The key word here is "different".

upd: In my previous message, to which you are now responding, there is no word "aesthetics". It simply doesn't exist.
You made up this word, attributed it to me and called it pretty silly. This is definitely what your behavior looks like. And I’m glad that you understand this too, at least on a subconscious level.
