I have to agree with you 100%. I've been trying to be more objective and less emotional while posting, but as somebody who has played for 10 years and has many characters that were made with specific design goals in mind, I'd have never asked for this change. Although before seeing the results thus far in the benchmark, my worries were minimum because I trusted them to be super careful with this...and it just, doesn't seem like they've been careful at all.

It's true a lot of the changes and even actual errors are little things--but there's so many of them across all races that it adds up in a way that makes me feel kind of hopeless. It's been difficult to log in knowing so many of my characters may be changing in ways I can't even correct in just two months...

Really sorry for this dump. I love the art style of this game, and, admittedly, am very attached to it. I've accepted long ago that the character update would happen whether I wanted it to or not...but I'd appreciate if they tried more to stick to the art style, in terms of character features and expressions.

I know that there's a "this is still a work in progress" announcement on the benchmark page. It's just that, as an individual, it really feels like so much to correct in just two months. I wish we were communicated with more clearly earlier. All in all, I hope my worries are proven wrong, and it's just a temporary strange lack of quality control, like when they thought it was okay to snip off Hrothgar ears when adding new hair, lol.

For now, though, I'm going to try to make myself look at the forum less for my sanity, but I really hope people continue to voice their concerns, and that they listen. These little things mean a lot to so many, and I thank you all for trying to share them.
