I'm just tired of the favoritism honestly. WAR is being designed in a way where it feels like the developers are telling me I have to play it, because it is the best at literally everything under the sun, and is intentionally being pushed that way, and playing what I want to play is throwing.

I'm sorry, but this is nothing but hypocrisy! That is, when you don't like something *in this case, WAR*, you run straight to the forum, with your hair flowing in the wind, that you don't like, that WAR is imposed on you, and write whole walls of text, and consider it normal. But when someone doesn't like that developers change our characters, you create silly funny memes and write in a sarcastic way. Keep it up!

As shown here, forum is the place people usually come when they wish to share a grievance or highlight an issue which they feel exists within the system. Again, just like here, there are often people who are of the opposite opinion or who may not quite agree with the points raised, and who also wish to share their views. It's all part of a regular discussion. As long as the discussion remains respectful and polite, there's no issue with it

Unlike her, I think her problem is as important as ours. No less, but she, like an ordinary person, has her own grievances, and I think no one can will laugh at her suggestions on how to fix the WAR, in her case.

It doesn't matter what it is: class balance, adding a new GATE to gold saucer, new glam, dd balance, new mount, ultimates and so on, it doesn't matter, everyone has different interests. And unlike me, I wish the developers would hear you and make the gameplay on WAR more interesting or whatever you suggest * I did not read the entire message* (and a wild offtop, but it's funny that I consider WAR a cheater, just comes in and does brrrrr and if you're a healer you can literally do nothing)

I made this small comparison earlier, I changed the benchmark gamma to 0 and I think it's similarish in color. The Bench lacks alot of the darker shadows and also it lacks alot of the vibrancy of the the hair. I admit I'm not entirely knowledgable about the technical details of the new graphics so I'm merely looking at it from a stylistic/artistic perspective.

I used my keyboard's arrow keys to adjust the angle in both the bench and the current cc. I tried my best to take similarly lit shots but even that is hard to control due to how different the lighting in both is. My idea is to show the Jaw shape from outside. I encourage people to try doing that when doing comparison shots- I doubt an ideal shot is fair.

= The face was moved downwards? Which I don't care much about.
= The jaw is more round giving the face an 'egg' shape, there was a subtle angle going down [ Which is unfortunate because if I wanted a really plump look I'd go for other faces ]

While the change is subtle, it makes her face look abit hmm, puffy? I feel like this is a common issue that I'm seeing, puffy/round/soft.

I tried my best to keep the angle the same and everything is as exact as it can be, using the hair parting and ear tips as guidance but I do admit there's probably a margin of error somewhere because the CC doesn't have precise tools for rotation/resetting camera etc.

I'd like to invite everyone to have a laugh at this. I think I'm slowly making peace with the changes? is this what stages of grief is? I really miss my mouth gap, my nose bump and my simple eyelashes. I feel like compared to my aura, my miqo lucked out but I can now look at my aura and think 'Damn it my poor baby looks like she's about to murder your entire family' and I find that strangely funny.

I'm not posting this to invalidate others, I too am sad that some changes happened but at this point posts in the EN forum isn't exactly instilling alot of confidence in me and I'm more concerned about my favorite characters. [This is taken at Gamma 50]

I do honestly hope you grow to like your character's new look even if it isn't exactly what you wanted at first. Nobody should have to play a character they're not happy about.

Not pointing anyone but it's ok to dislike or be frustrated at the change (it's happening btw, but the update isnt final) but if you're mourning, panicking, crying out loud and it's ruining your life, you need help

I honestly wonder when will people stop engaging with others who approach them in bad faith. The whole back and forth waters down this thread, it's almost sad to see someone from the JP side coming to post here not knowing the dumpster fire that is this thread. It's really embarrassing to see.

It's really obvious because only inflammatory posts rise to the top while feedback gets buried.

Someone who approaches you and tells you 'it's the same character' is right and wrong, it's a pointless statement that provides nothing but a bait for an argument. This person isn't interested in hearing you out, they already made their mind up. Then you have dismissive statements that strive to invalidate and minimize without actually trying to create a healthy respectful discussion.
