No no, that's precisely my point. I've been trying to remain fair to people that are unhappy with what they've got and asking for a compromise, so it's just frustrating when you group everyone who likes the update under the statement "They don't care about their characters". Just refrain from making such general statements in the future, please.I do not dispute that there are those who are satisfied with this, if you carefully read the forums, that is, those who have not been affected by the changes, or those who have become really more beautiful, let's be honest : 3 and there are those who did not win this lottery *, including me*

I want to clarify, I mean, I'm glad that there are people who like their changes and I confirm that there are those who really got better or changed and people like it and it's wonderful! I'm not saying that everyone who accepts these updates does not care about the character or is not attached, I'm sorry, with my A2 English level it's not too easy to talk about abstract topics, yes, it really may be so in that message, but I don't mean it by any means! No no, that's precisely my point. Yep, I use the same face. Absolutely hate the change. I won't play Hyur female again.I do not dispute that there are those who are satisfied with this, if you carefully read the forums, that is, those who have not been affected by the changes, or those who have become really more beautiful, let's be honest : 3 and there are those who did not win this lottery *, including me* I will now provide you with some screenshots of my character with whom I have 850 hours /playtime and it follows that I am incredibly attached to someone * yes, I do not play with ARR, which is actually a shame that I learned about this great game relatively recently*, and you will say that you would be happy with this Or not? Or someone else tell me if you would like this character of yours to become like this * if he were yours*, because it seems to me that huyr midlander 1 has changed beyond recognition * I have many friends with this type of face and they are all just cuties, which you can't say after the update *
it was
now
i know the difference scenes and etc, but any frame in benchmark with my upgraded wol is terrible, yes :3

I absolutely agree with you, and it's terrible, I don't have any alternative for another character, so then i need to hope for changes, because I believe in our developers, because they really listen to their players, and I believe that they will fix it so that everyone is happy, even if I have to wait :3

It's hard to remain fair and level-headed when everyone feels strongly about the changes to their character (myself included). I commend you for that. I've played over a decade as well and ironically find myself relating to both sides of the topic. In some pictures I love the changes and in others I don't. The physical features of my character's face changed quite a bit (as someone else mentioned for male hyur face 4) but depending on the lighting and angles he still looks great.Or maybe some of us are just legitimately happy with the changes? I've been playing this game for over a decade, I love my character, and I love the graphical update.
I get why people are upset about some things, but stuff like this is why I sometimes wonder why I bother trying to remain fair...
Here's an example of one I dislike (creepy eyes, no nose bridge, flat pasty lips, weird eyeliner, reduced cheekbones/jawline, etc.). All valid reasons to hate the update in my mind.
Current = left, updated = right
But here's an example of a picture where I do like the changes. A lot of those negative features were improved by the angle/lighting, even though the character settings are identical.
Current = left, updated = right
The more I mess around in the character creator and benchmark the more I notice how different the updated characters look based on the environment, and it can be pretty jarring. Hopefully SE will receive this feedback well, despite how polarizing and heated it can be. I love the dev team. They're far from perfect but I appreciate that they are open to feedback and want to give people what they want. Making an effort to remain fair about all this will definitely help them move forward in the right direction.

The character creator isn’t the final product. They have a disclaimer saying this stuff is still a work in progress. The build from the benchmark itself could be months old.I hath returned... to present us this gem of a finding:
"Wow uhh... I suppose exploring new world does warrants a stock up of KT tape? XD Y'know, for sore muscles and that, lol"
The hell is that skin texture? Seem to only happen in Gridanian Inn. Not only one but there are more to be found when you play with the lighting angle. How does this manage to not get noticed in quality check?
Honestly, after sifting through many pictures of people showcasing what went wrong in the past 2 days, I'm getting too familiar vibe of those times when I had to discern between genuine work of art or AI generated ones. It's like, whoever's doing the quality check or making these design choices does not understand the point of feeling or characterization. I sure hope this is just my brain brewing up some pointless conspiracy & not what actually happened behind the scenes...
It hasn’t passed any checks yet because the game is still in development. It’s important to point these issues out, but I don’t think it’s fair to drag the devs for these issues when the product isn’t final. It's entirely possible they fixed this very issue weeks ago internally.
Now, come 7.0 release day and these issues are still there, drag them all you want.

in some areas you are right, but what about me, for example? I have already made a pre-order, I have a new ugly character instead of my usual character, and you suggest that I sit and wonder if my character will look like I want at the start of the game or if I will have to play with this * which I categorically do not want to do* or wait by the sea for the weather when they fix everything? I want to be wrong, but then why does the benchmark even have a character editor if it's not relevant? to make people angry? No, I think in order for people to have a general idea of what their characters will look like, or for feedback, but doesn't it seem more logical to give us raw material, say, a year before the release, rather than two months before the release of dawntrai? and I say again, I try to be as objective as I can and in no case do I want to offend anyone :3The character creator isn’t the final product. I’ll have to get to my computer to get screenshots, but my only critique is that they added black eyeliner to my male Raven Au Ra without any option to remove it.
Particularly frustrating when I do my best to play against type, avoiding dark, harsh, or otherwise “edgy” aesthetics.

*sits in a corner, eating popcorn* I played WoW for almost 13 years, but boy oh boy, the drama in this forum is a whole other class. I love it.
