This isn't a complaint or anything but I have some concerns as a life long Whitemage main.
Because for example they say "Reborn mode will be your job as you knew it"
But I'm finding that hard to believe.
This Evolved mode they showcased I have noticed.
Either (a) consolidates buttons and limits redundancies (Especially prevelant with the Paladin Show case)
Or (b) adds entirely new unique abilities for Job Fantasy. (Especially prevalant with Dragoon)

I noticed a lot of Whitemages Afflatus abilities are now just gone, not consolidated.
Are we returning to a Stormblood system? Where I gcd heal generates lilies, and I use this new two-charge nuke thing? (I mean I liked Stormblood Whm, but I also had Aero 3)
I cannot tell if "High Cure" for example, is a combination of Cure 2 and Cure 3?
Cure 3 is a very valuable healing spell for me as a Whitemage for split room mechanics, where either the healers are dead on the other side or we're both on the same side, but the dps are on another.
Because Cure 3 makes the target the epicenter of the AoE.
I also noticed that my Assize is missing and that is a major issue too, because it's a powerful aoe ability that heals my group and gives me back mana. Unless in Evolved Mode that is consolidated in Holy? Maybe?
I don't have Asylum either. Where did that go? There's consolidated Medica it seems.
OR REGEN for that matter? Is that attached to a new ability? I don't know. If I work my way backwards from Evolved mode (If this is consolodated) where is it?
I know that they combined Aquaveil and divine benison in this mode. But that seemed to be the only consolidated ability they gave me.
PoM (Presence of Mind) is gone I assume because they made all attacks instant? Does this mean Glare 4 is gone? You just gave me a powerful aoe ability and now it's just gone? Or does this new evolved mode make all my abilities aoe?
I can't really tell because the devs show case was basically 30 seconds long and like this will make things easier - so it's all okay! Like wtf is that? I noticed Aero was missing but lets be real these devs HATE dots.

People have tried to console me that everything will be fine in Reborn Mode.

I mean like I've seen y'shotola and the lalafell in the ARR trailer use some sort of Barrier technique, You mean to tell me Dragoon just gets to have it's cool jump ability where it can go with 90% damage reduction and somehow still die, but I don't even get like a cool barrier move?
Wouldn't it be like BIG Job fantasy if for like a Big Raidwide I could Pop a Small circle Barrier thing and mitigate a lot of damage? I don't see why Dragoon get's like an Ult - and I don't get one.
Paladin abilities being easier to use makes sense less redundant and Dragoon got a cool new ability but like Whitemage - Make the "Easiest" job even "Easier" WHY? that doesn't make sense.
And like there are so few of my abilities actually being around, I'm afraid Reborn Mode will not actually be what I know.
If it's also that every other healing Job gets identity and better options while I get screwed over just because Whitemage is the "First healing job" that's bullshit. They didn't do that for Paladin that's one of the first tanks, sure it's easier, but there was deliberate FORETHOUGHT and the abilities Paladin had it got to keep.

I know people will laugh because "Haha Glare Mage" but like... My healing abilities have utility that I use dynamically and they weren't consolidated; they were cut.
If Reborn mode is pruned then there be no point.
So I'm not okay with this until I see what Reborn mode looks like - because it seems like my Job actually got HEAVILY pruned if you logically move each Evolved ability back to their unconsolidated state. Unless I'm completely wrong.
This Evolved mode will just automatically do more damage and healing than I could, period? So like I'm griefing my group if I don't use it? Because if we need more damage I'm gonna need to use that. So I'm very concerned. The spent like 30 seconds on my job I've played for 10+ years and just moved on.
