Viera Changes

I actually like Rava eyes better and think it looks better than the old veena eyes. The old veena eyes I could barely see their eye color. I was jealous male viera had those eyes on both rava and veena. I think it’s a good change.

I said I like them better. I chose veena at the time because of skin color/tone and I tolerated the eyes. I disliked the no discernible eye color of the veena before. All Veena eyes from a short distance away were the same to me. It doesn’t mean my opinion is better or worse than yours. I’m not aggressively advocating for the change, I am just voicing my opinion. I also dislike Veena’s lack of eyebrows compared to Rava. If Rava had some more skin tones (less orange,red) I would have played them instead just for the eyes and eyebrows. Sun and moon miqo’te have a lot more varied skin tones so choosing between eyes and fangs is more meaningful instead of tolerating things like eyes and eyebrows with Viera. I really don’t understand why eyebrows have to be different either.

Thank you I was so glad to see the smaller puppil on the benchmark for my veena. I understand that some people want the old one back but please give us the choice or alternatively make the two clan skin color palette more similar (not reducing option adding them for both).
I would personally advocate to just scrap the clan system but it's never gonna happens sadly, genuinely why can't miqo'te player get the fang and the slit pupil or both "normal" let people choose. It's an unnecessary limitation to an already extremely limited character creator.

I feel like I am one of the few that is happy with the changes ^^;
Someone pointed out that 7.0 looks now more feminine but honestly, I want my bun to be pretty so that's personally a plus for me.

My Viera too, has been nerfed and changed in the Benchmark. Hell, I had to darken his skin to even get a smidge close to the original vibes he had.

Darkened the skintone, still not the same though.


He actually had more of a brooding look which is now gone, same for the nose. It's been sanded down and lost all it's charm. It's not even remotely the same character, which is a shame as I genuinely loved his design!
Where's my experienced looking Warder? Right now he looks like barely passed his trials and left the forest in Dawntrail. Genuinely hope this gets fixed because it seems to be a common problem for Viera...

Looks really good. My feelings atm is that darker skin tones have come out better because of the stronger contrast in colours. Light skin and hair has definitely got worse, in my opinion.

Maybe time to use that free fanta and get a tan...

I completely agree! I am like mind blown with the subtle changes and wish I could have them now. My Viera's hairline is so clean and crisp now, her mouth looks amazing, and the detail in her eyes was like striking to me at first.

She's so incredibly pretty and I could not be happier!! Plus her skin tone now is MUCH better! We don't look like a ghost with too much sunscreen. I'm really glad of how inclusive they decided to be for players with darker skin tones.

In my opinion, face 1 for FemViera looks very good after the update. And if I remember correctly, it is that face that they have modeled when showing us progression pics of the graphics update. So, congratulations on your stunning bun!
However, as a FemViera player using face 2, things are not as great. The lips are the worst part, but the eyes also really makes a world of difference. Hoping the benchmark will get an update, or that we will be reassured that changes will be added to 7.x.

I'm really not understanding the complaints I'm seeing. From every before and after I see it looks like a straight upgrade in every way. To each their own I guess but I think the graphical update looks amazing
