Oh wow, they actually changed the pupil size too from what I can see. Is there no larger option anymore?

Yeah, they now have pretty much the same eyes! I love that they're enhancing stuff, but they're also taking away definining characteristics between tribes within races. Veena always had larger pupils which gave them a different look to the Rava.

They did the same with Miqo, the Moon cats no longer have the big pronounced fangs they had before, which is one of the main differences they had from Sun cats, other than the eyes and skin tones.

I'm really not understanding the complaints I'm seeing. From every before and after I see it looks like a straight upgrade in every way. To each their own I guess but I think the graphical update looks amazing

DT changes isn't an upgrade in every way though? Like my character literally looks objectivity worse without any changes on my end.

While it may be an upgrade in your eyes, in my honest opinion this is not the character I've made.
The character is supposed to have an air of being older and experienced and the graphical update actually de-aged him to a degree that ruins the character I've designed and grown attached to.
The eye and nose shapes are completely different.

Face 2 also got hit with this. I generally use both face 1 & 2, depending on mood, but the mouth change has probably killed off face 2 for me. It's really bad looking now.

e. I ran my face 2 through the benchmark, and it didn't look AS bad as the side-by-side comparison in the creator. The creator made her look ROUGH. As a whole though, all of my characters looked worse to me with the new settings. Colors are way muted, there's no shine on their lips, facial features seem to have changed shape, jaws blend into their necks, lalas lost their noses, and mooore. I'm a wee bit nervous. lol.

Gonna have to play around a lot in-game once the expansion hits to see how they look in the actual world.

Looks really good. My feelings atm is that darker skin tones have come out better because of the stronger contrast in colours. Light skin and hair has definitely got worse, in my opinion.

Maybe time to use that free fanta and get a tan...

My friends keep telling me it looks fine. I think this is someone else.



The details of her nose are gone which makes her nose look larger than what it was before.
The definition of her lips is gone as well, she had a cute cupids bow and it looks like she went and got filler.
The colours of her eyes has changed from a blueish colour to aquamarine.
Before I could take off her eyeliner and she would look "fresh"- now she has a constant thick eyeliner on her eyelid with the darkest black colour.
Imo she looks terrible.

I'm extremely unhappy too. It feels like we lost all of our identity, lips are a complete different shape, make up looks weird for bun boys, and our noses don't look like bunny noses anymore really. I'm gutted.

I'm extremely conflicted with these changes to my viera. My darker skinned character here has had her bunny nose entirely removed, not to mention the big difference in eye colour? Her nose and face look blurry, and the new lipstick looks god awful. I wonder how they managed to mess things up this badly. I have been incredibly happy with my viera design for years now, and to have her face changed to something worse feels heartbreaking to me. She looks lifeless and like she's constantly frowning. I kinda understand why because look at those flat and dimensionless lips??



I am truly saddened to see my bunny nose removed like this, it's one of my favourite features of viera aside from the ears. We seriously got so shafted...
