Give whoever did Face 1 Highlander a raise because it looks incredible! I couldn't be happier with how the update turned out!

No idea what people are smoking with the soulless eyes comments. The current eyes look soulless, the new ones look 10000000x better and full of life.

If I had to nitpick I would say the lower lip could perhaps be blended out a bit more along that dividing line. It is accurate to the original as it is, but that line looks much more stark in HD so it kinda looks like you have three lips lol.

Either way, she looks amazing! Can't wait to play Dawntrail!

Most of mine converted great, but PLEASE SQUARE PLEASE fix Highlander Female Face 2's eyes before launch. Respectfully, it's not even close. I don't recognize my own character.

The real glaring issue is these eyes. My character had a milky blue effect in her eyes because the pupil in the pre-7.0 models is very SMALL compared to the iris. In the 7.0 graphical changes, the iris is "normal" sized to the other faces but that makes a shocking difference. Like, completely different look.

Not only that, but the iris now has this awful shadowing effect applied to the top third of it for no real reason, so you can only see the full color by angling upward. This looks absolutely horrible from even a little zoom out, like a permanent squint. Please please, rework this. I've spent hours in the benchmark trying to shake this complete disconnect to the original design.

Sidenote for anyone struggling:

Easy fixes to try:

- I had to make skin tone darker by +1
- Had to make lips darker by +1
- Had to LIGHTEN eyes by -1

I think washed out colors are the least of the issues since that can be changed in the benchmark settings. But I wanted to post a better comparison just so my previous one doesn't look disingenuous. (Anyone got an eyebrow pencil...? )

I think he looks great... overall the shading looks a lot better as a darker-skinned character.

As others have pointed out, the "makeup" eye tattoo for male Viera does look kinda wonky. I think the colors look washed out compared to live. If they adjusted them to look as bold as they do in live I think it would help a lot.

Not a dealbreaker for me though. I'm sorry for people who are disappointed in their changes.

I feel like she looks really tired in the benchmark, or that her soul left her body, something like that, her gaze feels waaaaay less intense to me. Also, what is she doing with her mouth? Girl did you put glue on it?? D': Are you fine??

I'm obviously pretty sad about these changes, even tho the textures, materials and lighting are an obvious upgrade in my opinion, I'm not sure I really recognize my character here I feel like she went from an angy warrior to a cute sleepy princess (a cute sleepy princess covered in blood, that is..).
That, or that I am paranoiac!

Either way, I'm probably going to be stuck with these changes from DT on.. I think that killed some of my excitement for the release

I had a similar cutification beam shot at my face 4 au ra. Like. I would've picked one of the other faces if I wanted to lean into the super cutesy vibe they have going on, but I didn't, I wanted something more like a warrior on the battlefield. I'm really bummed and considering I already was very reserved about the 'beach episode' vibes to begin with...this isn't going to be a pleasant expac for me I don't think.

Like I still think they look good? I enjoy the brighter eyes, but the left eye is supposed to be white, I have the very first white selected, but it's green now??? Also the lack of gloss on their lips is annoying. Also the racial tattoo of the liner on the eyes is muted really bad.
