Thread: 7.0 Graphics Update - Please adjust the changes to Dunesfolk Lalafell and Au Ra eyes

I understand that many people prefer the new look of the eyes but I feel like the eye changes are much more further away from the original appeal and appearance of these races. I also feel that some NPC designs will no longer carry the same feeling if they will all be changed to the new style.

On today's PLL, I was able to notice that the changes to the Lalafell eyes on Yoshida-san's character were most noticeable, more than the original Lalafell comparison picture.

I hope they are paying attention to this. Miqo'te eye also lost some brightness. I am on the side of allowing people to choose.

However, I want to point out that the Lalafell shots are taken from video ingame and is not lined up as carefully as the the Au Ra pics. The difference may not be as bad as it looks, but I agree that it looks like the have zero "glow" in the new version.

That's honestly what disturbs me the most - the rubbery/ oily skin on the lala


And the lalafells look like plainsfolk and dunesfolk but I guess we'll find out soon

yeah I could've sworn last live letter they explicitly said that they're making the limbal ring glow a slider now, so you could have the old look, the more subtle newer look, or everything in between.

found a tweet from Nova Crystallis pertaining to it during a live summary of the JP 2024 fanfest keynote,

They acknowledge some au ra players like how the eyes appeared previously, and this result can still be achieved after the graphical update.

This is mine now
