Portrait feature requests

I couldn't find a better spot to post this thread, so I'm adding it here.

For those who aren't aware, portraits are a way to add a picture of your character to a loadout. They flicker for a brief moment on commencing a duty and at the commendation screen. That's it. All that effort just for a tiny glimpse that barely registers. There's gotta be a way to integrate portraits with more persistent appearance. That would make a creative element that we have so much freedom to define our own identity in game way more immersive.

I would like to see more poses associated with class abilities.

Getting a good action shot would really boost morale.

For poses obtainable through PvP, there's no responsiveness to head and eye directionality.

For some of these poses, the weapons clip out of the frame. I think getting action shots as portraits would be greatly enhanced if this issue were to be addressed

They actually will stay up for a lot longer if people didn't pull early!

Also you can open them up at any time from the Duty window once they closed.

That said, I agree with these points:

* More class ability poses (not just vpose and bstance)
* More eye/look at camera functionality on a lot of the older poses (Huzzah is one that needs it in standard Gpose, too)

I would also add in, for the UI itself:

* Give us the option to keep Portraits open for up to 10 seconds even if some jerk pulls the second Duty official opens. Or just "keep Portraits open until I actually close them."
* Or Give portrait its own keybind on/off option so we could set it as an HUD toggle

yeah there are some super cool poses that the attack animations have, and they're just not an option in the portraits for some reason. I'd really love to use them.

I would love for it to auto save when you save your new appearance settings in your character page, especially when the item isn't visible in the portrait itself. As is, I change the glam for say my WAR, I have to go through and save it for GNB, PLD, and DRK (as they are all wearing the same gear save for the weapon) by switching to each of those jobs, save it in the character screen for each, then go into portaits and edit then immediately save without making any settings changes for each of those jobs. If we aren't making pose, zoom, etc settings changes all the portait system is doing is reapplying our settings to the model. Could, for example, the portait save for a glam change be automatically performed when we use the update on the character page for the job?

I'd also like the ability to link the portrait permanently to a Glamour Plate. I love my current SCH portrait, and while I love my current glam, I kind of want to change it for Dawntrail. But this portrait was made to go with this glam, and the moment I change the glam and change the portrait, the portrait will be lost forever. The glam can be kept, the portrait goes bye bye since it's linked to the job, not the glamour.

I think allowing for a stored portrait linked to a glamour plate IN THE BACKGROUND would also eliminate the problem of "you upgraded one (1) ring and now your portrait is back to basic B mode until you remember to fix it"

I would even love to see our portraits next to our health bars and names! That would be so cute.
