"Muh addons" isn't really a coherent argument for the devs changing the difficulty of anything. There are so many pitfalls and slippery slopes pertaining to what'll happen should the devs account for addon usage that they just shouldn't. Just see what that's done for WoW's encounters over the last decade. Good luck doing heroic or mythic raids without at least DBM.
