Nerf gil profit from submarine

You posted images taken from a 2 year old video that was illustrating what it looks like when a FC min-maxes their salvage sub runs. Also, this is something that takes TIME, A LOT of time. This person saved up alot of their salvage items and then made the video conveying the amount of gil one can make when having full subs, min-maxed, used the correct routes, and just spent time, like months.

Next time please provide full context about this type of content and stop trying to gas-light the community into believing this is part of some larger systemic problem.

With the many avenues of gil, I find it hilarious that someone would target this when a fc seller can blow away what people who do subs can even make and that's just in one sale. Now let me point out how many millions crafters can make upon patch day with new gear and mats.

Then let me point out the people who pay other people for rp. Levekits etc.

If you wanna target people who do subs who frankly need to be spending to even get the ceruleum tanks...then have at it. Just don't forget that there are other ways to make far more.

To add to your example:

I forget if they're on Dynamis or Aether but a friend of a friend dedicated themselves to making/selling furniture when Empyreum first launched and sold on several servers. They cleared close to 1B in two weeks I believe just from how much people were buying lol. It's honestly stupid how much crafters can make just by preparing and capitalizing on big events like patch launches and housing districts opening. People are willing to pay ridiculous amounts for things that can be bought from housing merchants for 1/10th of the price, for example.

This is why I personally don't partake in multi-owning submarines lol. There are way easier ways to make large amounts of gil in a shorter amount of time.

Yet you’re missing the point for those that actually work together to build the damn thing. To even get to that level of profit you’re spending close to 3-6 months barring RNG just to set yourself up for success. It’s only been 3 for my FC and we just finished fitting our sub with SSUC++(which, mind, takes over 500k Seals’ worth of materials). It’s a massive undertaking to do it by yourself.

This. Leveling the subs took forever and I grinded out ALL the mats for my 4 submarines (all WSUC) in my solo FC completely alone. I didn't even buy anything from MB, everything was self-gathered, including crafting shards/crystals. I put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into my subs, I deserve all the profit they make, sorry not sorry.
