After 1 (arguably 2) expansions what is square trying to achieve with WAR (and PLD)?

Self-created problem imo. Devs catered to the WAR base and then didn't yank back the reins. Now they know that if they scream enough, they'll get it.

Crying about a 2% gap is nuts, especially since WAR brings so much utility.

Back early in the expansion, they were about 10% behind DRK, that was worth a complaint. But being 2% behind in exchange for all their utility is actually fair.

Well it's very simple, if they keep it this way going forward i'm just not going to play tank anymore.
I don't like Warrior and don't want to play it. It's slow, looks ugly and optimising it gives me brain rot. But it keeps receiving preferential treatment.

Maybe we should cry for a button that would let us healer (or anybody) pull, survive, and ignore tanks in dungeon then lmao. /s

You take significantly less damage in single target. DRK can do wall to walls, that does not mean it does them comfortably. DRK has the worst time with dungeons for obvious reasons, and I wouldn't want any of the tanks to be more like DRK. Please take your false equivalencies and shove them.

I'm sure healers disagree with you, and would rather more tanks be like DRK so they can actually play the game.

Can you also say that to SMN players who have lost their pet management because some entitled group of people wanted a walking flash grenade? I fear that SCH will be next to get the same treatment but between the 2, SCH delves more onto summoning than EW SMN ever did.
