. . . play DPS, then:
1. your tank will be slow and pull 1 thing at a time
2. your healer will be oblivious

. . . play healer, then:
1. your tank will never use AoE attacks to aggro enemies, so they charge at you instead
2. your DPS will stand in every enemy AoE

. . . play tank, then:
1. your healer will only cast Cure 1 and stand there doing nothing in-between casts
2. your DPS will not know 90% of their abilities and will deal less DPS than you

Also, roulettes have a really bad retention rate in general. If you did them every day for a month by the next one, you'd rather do anything else. It's like gearing on a casual level takes way too long that by the time I am geared, I want to unsubscribe from the fatigue of it all. It's cheap consumable content. I don't remember the good groups and gripe about the bad ones. It as a system is stale. It has been for years. It was stale when it came out, let's be honest. You can only play Wrath of the Lich King of fantasy for so many years before you want off the ride. I don't even gear anymore. I one and done and unsubscribe. Something has to give.

TBH the single-pulling tank is the worst thing that can happen in a dungeon - just painful to experience.

I do them every time I play. I like the way it hurts.

I used to not mind them, but over ten years of this is enough for me. I find myself playing and being subscribed less and less. Even this new event I logged in did the event logged off and unsubscribed. Obviously, I'm still interested in the game, and I try to keep up with it, but I'm kinda done grinding tomestones.

my mileage has varied with roulettes, but I mainly heal

its been slow for content, so people tend to pick up jobs they arent fond of or rarely play, which is why you often get less than ideal tanks, dps or healers.

never really have any problems, but then, I dont go in with expectations either

You need to pug more dungeons, because it definitely isn't.

I like wall-to-wall pull as much as the next Dyskrasia-spamming Sage, but occasionally getting a new tank who pulls small is a nice change in pace. I just relax and go with it.

2nd worst, the worst are the healers who only focus on doing damage and dont bother to heal

Fixed this for you:

If you...

Play DPS ...
... then you have the easiest role in the game. You just run after the tank and hit things, and if you mess up the healer should look after you, so chill out and enjoy the ride.

Play healer ...
... then it's nice when the tank asks if they can do big pulls and the DPS at least try to avoid mechanics. Just use all the buttons and remember your ABC.

Play tank ...
... then you should certainly use AOEs to keep aggro, but one mob at a time is just fine. Don't feel pressured into speeding up if you don't want to.

In all honesty my experience of 5 years of roulettes on EU, JP and OCE has been pretty relaxed anyway, so if any new players are reading this please don't be put off by all the negative posts in the forums about not being good enough. As long as you're being polite and trying your best you're doing an awesome job.
