What are your thoughts on DT full trailer song?

As a note, i started playing in SHB, so i cannot have previous trailers at the moment experiences following them

Or rather, songs

I feel really mixed regarding them

I love the main part, focusing itself on the vacation and party type Dawntrail(initially) is going

On the extended trailer with the reveal of Viper they added a more Spanish(or castillian) theme wich honestly flew really well with what was already the main theme, going from main>spanish guitar>main song again and feeling natura to me

But now in the final is... kind of a mess

The main theme takes the spotlight, good there, but on the middle they start mixing the spanish part wich already flew well on the extended trailer to now put glimpses here and there and it's a weird feeling, to then abandon both these 2 and introduce yet another song wich, while i quite like, i don't know why to think going foward and back between these 3 songs, to then at the end go back to main

I understand both Viper and Pictomancer were both hyped and so on both deserved to shine compared to SHB where DNC gets a more calmed introducion and in EW both SGE and RPR with Zenos are a bit overlooked but shown slightly, but the end result in terms of song distribution feels strange

So, what do you guys think?

Meh, honestly, I've only been a fan of Stormblood's trailer theme. But more of the music people get hyped up for in this game, I don't. It's like I don't hate The Twinning, but you guys spaming it in memes and running it endlessly for tomes. I hate that song now. I don't hate it, but I'm also not hyped for Dawntrail. I'm not going into it negatively. I've just found nothing worth hootin and hollerin' about it yet. I'm rather meh about it all.

I think the entire song is pretty good. I think the third act with krile and the pictomancy is supposed to be a bit jarring. The whole of the reveals from jp fan fest seemed to be a bit more about subverting our expectations with pictomancer as well as reveals like solution nine. Showing us that there's more to this expansion thematically than we originally thought.

I thought endwalkers theme was very repetitive over all and you hear the same melodies all over that expansion which really isn't anything new for an expansion theme but it felt.. extra to me with endwalker now to the point that I'm honestly very tired of endwalkers music. Dawntrail having a bit more going on is a welcome change that I hope continues into settlement and battle music to help keep things fresh over the next couple years. The whole tales of loss and fire and flame start up screen has got to go at this point although I feel tired of the log in screen every time before a new expansion.

Its pretty mid and I don't think it really matches the aesthetics they're going for.

I also wonder how long they're going to keep up the callback lyrics thing, they're a bit corny to me.

this is by far the worst theme they've ever done.

I absolutely dislike every part of the theme.

I'm usually not picky because I've liked everything before, but this one, I find it Meh.

As a Legacy player, nothing will ever beat Answers. Racing into Cartenaeu, fighting Garleans with Dalamud hanging over your head while fighting the dying servers. Only to have the screen go black and Answers play for the first time with the End of an Era trailer. Yeah, nothing, absolutely nothing will ever beat that. Heavensward was amazing, Shadowbrinings theme was in my head for literally months...

Honestly, DT's theme is just a lil tune I would turn down when it comes on the radio. This is the first trailer and song I haven't listened to or watched again after the first viewing at fantest. It is basically chaotic auditory vomit, like someone made adhd into music. Without any real direction or drama in the game these days and the scions (again...sigh) just acting silly in the trailer, it makes it all feel empty.
