Dear Square Enix,

As a fervent supporter of your games, I find myself deeply disheartened by recent developments surrounding Final Fantasy XVI. The decision to make it a PS5 exclusive not only excludes a significant portion of the fanbase who prefer gaming on PC but also highlights a troubling trend of prioritizing console exclusivity over inclusivity.

What exacerbates this disappointment is the timing of the recent announcement regarding a limited-time crossover event in Final Fantasy XIV, a game I faithfully play on PC. It's baffling to witness Square Enix prioritize events for a game that many PC players can't even access, especially when there's been no indication of a release date for FFXVI on PC.

This situation is made even more frustrating by the fact that the FFXIV event will likely conclude long before any news of a PC release for FFXVI is even announced. For PC players like myself who are eagerly awaiting FFXVI or simply don't own a PS5, it's incredibly awkward and disheartening to be enticed with content from a game we can't yet experience.

Square Enix, please understand the predicament you've placed PC players in. We want to support and enjoy your games, but the current approach feels exclusionary and out of touch with the needs of a diverse fanbase.

I urge you to reconsider the timing of exclusive events and prioritize inclusivity by releasing future titles simultaneously on all platforms. Additionally, please consider the impact of any potential exclusivity deals on PC sales. As a PC gamer who prefers to wait for Steam releases, another Epic Games Store exclusive, like what occurred with the FF7 Remake, would only further frustrate and alienate loyal fans.
