    Please refresh roulettes in 7.X.

    14's roulette system is, overall, probably the best method of keeping old content relevant I've ever seen in an MMO. That said, it's not flawless and there are a few pretty big issues that should be addressed in 7.X. In no particular order...
    • Expert roulette and level 90 (soon to be 100) roulette should be merged and rewards adjusted accordingly. These being separate made sense back when we were getting 2 or 3 dungeons per patch. Nowadays all this does is force you into one of the same two dungeons every day for months and months. It's tedious.
    • All MSQ content should all be item level sync'd, including crystal tower. There's nothing fun about getting ARR shiva and obliterating her in 45 seconds. I've heard from dozens of sprouts that getting into LOTA for the first time is frustrating because everything falls over dead before they can get a hold on what's happening and where people are running.
    • Rewards should adjust depending on what instance you get, especially if item level sync is added. The difference doesn't need to be night and day, but knowing you'll get 5 extra tomes or 10% more exp would make things a tad more exciting and less frustrating. Say you zone into Orbonne Monastery when you were expecting Thalia, It would turn the groan you let out into a bit more of an excited "oh!"
    • Add more PvP roulettes. Or at least daily bonuses or whatever the current frontline one is technically called. One for frontlines, one for rival wings, and one for crystalline conflict. If nothing else this would rejuvenate rival wings. BTW, when is Astragolos being added back?

    These are the roulette changes I'd like to see in DT, is there anything I didn't think of?

    . Add mandatory Job Stones, and required ilvl for ARR dungeons. Sprouts should learn to upgrade their gear and to progress in the Job quests before getting to do any dungeon from level 30 onwards.

    - I would also say "disable commendations on Guildhests" too, but that would probably be harder to pull off.

    - All roulette content should be item level sync'd and, in some cases, the ilvl sync should be harsher.

    - Rework MSQ roulette to include the MSQ content from other expansions (mainly the trials) which is still subjected to long queue times for the sprouts. And, in the Trials' case, Duty Support can't serve as a stopgap measure.

    And I'm probably missing a couple additional ideas too.

    A stricter Item Level sync is something I can absolutely get behind 100%.

    I think wiping is something that needs to be embraced or happen more. It isn't too fun when duties amount to a preordained first-try victory.

    Aside from this, the biggest thing for me is that it absolutely kills the storytelling and suspense when duties get burned through due to people being decked out. it's sad to me that they understood it with the Endwalker final trial when people started to near enough skip the cutscene, and addressed it, but probably won't take the spirit of the more general issue with it.

    As I like to put it for Duty Finder-able content: I don't care if we wipe, but let's not wipe the same way twice.

    In other words, it should be reasonably obvious what we got wrong and what we need to do differently on the next try. Frustration sets in not because we failed, but because we keep failing without making progress.

    Disgustingly bloated ilvl syncs I think is the worst singular issue facing the collective game right now

    Sure each role has its problems (DPS rotations are stale, WAR is the best at everything, healers exist) but looking at the game as a collective the fact that almost all casual content invalidates itself by its own ilvl bloat to the point that the content you remember as being interesting basically amounts to “full of instakills” (like first boss of fun scaith) or “doesn’t give a crap about your ilvl and would still mess you up at level 90 (like cid)

    CT isn’t inherently bad, it’s bad because besides a few ARR vets nobody actually remembers CT’s mechanics because we just bloat them out of existence, experts are too easy regardless but we also bloat them beyond all reasoning, at this point it’s almost viable to stop both the tank and the healer and just do 4 DPS they do so little damage

    Honestly content is a snapshot of when it’s released it doesn’t need sync ranges, everything should sync like Bozja

    Agreed. All those things should happen. They have all been suggested before and are fairly obvious to anyone that plays the game, so it escapes me why they haven't made these changes.

    I'd love if the Expert roulette consisted of 3 dungeons:
    1) The latest one
    2) One dungeon from the 7.0 leveling range, but scaled to level 100 (drops are still to the dungeon's original level)
    3) After 7.1, one random dungeon from the patch cycle

    2 and 3 get into a daily rotation. I feel that many expansion leveling dungeons go to waste because you'll realistically only get to see them if you're purposedly queueing to level a job or are lucky enough to get them from the leveling roulette.

    If they don't want to make Crystal Tower raids ilvl a bit better, they could at least have it in the MSQ roulette instead.

    Also delete guildleve roulette, it gives nothing XP, nothing gil... and you hit a gobbue for 10 minutes, yawn

    I'd like to see them break up the roulettes a bit more, into additional level ranges sub-90, for more variety and also more sources of daily low/high bonus tomestones.

    +1 for better rewards for longer/harder instances and Rival Wings roulette.

    -1 for harsher ilvl syncing, that would simply make everything take longer, which isn't fun. Making everything tankier and hit harder isn't going to make the game harder for the midcore people, and only punishes the casuals.
