Most jobs would be significantly worse, though there's a cutoff where it doesn't really matter for the shb and ew jobs.

Winners: Dark Knight and Scholar imo. Felt their kits were more fun back in the day than they are now. Darks had multiple combos and mp management was more tricky with dark arts so it was more interesting. Scholars had more dps buttons so are better by default, even if they don't actually have any of their really good abilities in ARR.

The biggest losers: Warrior and Ast basically cease to function at all.

Personal Winner: Samurai. Samurai is still a good job in the current day but I do feel like stormblood was the best version and every expansion after has just made them a little worse. Tsubama is interesting but managing your gcd timings to keep it on cd is a bit of a jank thing to have to do and I imagine most players never did so that kinda dragged shb down. For EW, I'm the guy that is glad they cut kaiten and I don't miss it. However, adding a 2nd charge to meikyo and giving it a weird timer has made that whole thing feel weird to me in a way that I don't like. I also hate the late game transition of the cone aoe to a circle. If they had made fuga a circle to begin with, it would be fine. But I don't like having to shift muscle memory every time I sync.

It's just an AOE spell that does no damage and binds all the targets it hits. Not a particularly useful or powerful spell.
