Painter mode for Pictomancer

I was thinking about how artists etc shout in town about drawing portraits of your character and thought, it would be awesome if they added something similar to bard for Painting. You could set up an Easel and have different brushes/paints and paint pictures on the spot for people and save them in an album or maybe even create an item to give to them that they can keep and view once your painting is finished.

If they didn't trust players with more agency for the portrait system, I don't see them giving full drawn live art to players, sadly. Unless they make something like the portrait system, where you choose through preset filters and poses maybe? Idk...

i think the good outweighs the bad, and a good system shouldnt be held back because of what some people may or may not do personally. fully aware that people will probably draw NSFW content etc but with a system like this no one would even really be able to see it unless you watch a stream(which would get you banned on twitch) or have to accept a trade (which requires some form of mutual agreement, and if you do something unexpected or not agreed upon it would ofc lead to ToS) so i think it kind of all works itself out.

I imagine it pretty similar to bard performance, so you just see a Picto plop down an Easel and do silly painting animations but the easel never really shows anything for anyone else.

and im also thinking of the times streamers open up Paint outside of the game and draw silly "NFTs" or explain mechanics and various other things, and being able to actually do it in game would make it even funnier if you ask me

At the end of the day, whether such a feature lives or dies is determined by a single question: is the development team comfortable with making an addition to the game that allows players to show pictures of binguses to other players?

Considering that the game is rated T for Teen and the lengths CBU3 have gone to to limit player expression in portraits, it seems fairly obvious that the answer would be "no".

(Now, if you just want an /easel emote, that seems like something they'd be able to make no problem)
