that kinda was what Assassinate did originally, when the Opponent was under 20% HP, you could use it. but most Melee/DPS had it back then, got removed sadly but NIN's Assassinate was too iconic, so they turned it into something else^^
As a ninja enjoyer. Ninja is great Job to play but def there 2 thing they might consider to reduce ninja workload and errors of the Job.
The mudras being more pipeline like press one button you have the choices of single target,aoe and trick attack(this will reduce the errors of the mudra, its only job who still pay the price at this day for a mess up.)
Or make permenant Huton. (less to pay attention of speed buff and more focus what mudra I need to use)
This would help reduce the errors or the workload because if they going add more stuffs or add a new gauge. I think will be hardest job to play as a melee. But that my thought.
