(Suggestion) Cosmetic downgrade.

So for summoners they have the ability to egi glam. Which includes "downscaling" their egis into carbuncles.

I'd like something like that but for all spells. Just like the carbuncles it'd be purely cosmetic and not effect potency at all.

This would allow you to use the spell animation of a lower level spell that is directly replaced. So like instead of glare on a white mage you could get access to stone II. Instead of Dia you could use aero.

While they are often less flashy I find some of the older spells to be better, particularly thematically.

The Actions & Traits window is already organized in a way that could be used for something like this. Actions that upgrade show you in Upgrades the actions that are all bound to the same button, with a star by the one that is currently active. It would be nice if you could just click one of the old actions to set the animation to that one.

I definitely prefer to see aero and stone animation to dia and glare animation

I'd love to be able to turn off all of the flipping and spinning Heated animations on MCH.

They could also bring back animations from deleted spells. I still miss Aero III's staff spin

Still wish the SMN bursts at 90 with bahamut, phoenix and egis would stick to the carbuncle glam.

I'd also love to use Physis 1. Never get to see the animation unless I'm synced down into ARR content.
