Do you really use (or gonna use, if you get one) your house?

I use my personal house everytime i play. I eat, manage retainers, repair things there. I also go to the beach sometimes when I need to afk for a few minutes. When I need to log off for a day then i take a bath and go to bed.

As of FC House: There usually is someone taking a break who i can chat / interact with. I train our chocobos. Sometimes dance there.

My personal is located right next to a Market Board. When ever I am out in the world and I need something I just port home and hit it up. I had my house designed as well and its gets a lot of use.

I use my home and FC house religiously.

My personal home is where I craft or Gpose often. My FC house is where I organize with my peers and we post up our trophies in the trophy hall and we co-ordinate who in the FC handles the subs and who is our gardener and who is running the Aether wheel.

That said I see a weird situation where folks get a house...then quit. Its like they think owning a house is going to be something that it turns out it isn't.

I use both my personal and FC house every time I'm on.
My personal house is decorated but not amazing; I plan on redoing it when we get the Dawntrail updates. I still love hanging out in the area since my friends have some houses near mine and we hang out at the one MB in the Goblet.
The FC I went ham on decorating and it's next to a MB, so I usually end up there when everyone else is taking a break. I also like visiting my neighbors and buying stuff off their retainers.

I do understand with some complaints that some houses sit vacant. There's a large in my personal's ward that is barely decorated (has a garden) and is owned by an FC that has 2 people total, and a character search shows they barely play... But honestly, what can you do lol.

Cities being full of people gives me anxiety, so I'm happy I can use my house for marketboard access.

Plus the Material Supplier NPC merchant for housing is the best in the game, with the greatest variety of materials.
It's very convenient to craft at a well-appointed FC or personal house near a marketboard;
the only thing better would be a marketboard furnishing for inside the house!

Mao uses house all the times. Is place of quiets and relaxations where Mao nots get yelled at for chewing on furnitures....and books....and cutleries....and walls....and....

One of my favorite things to do in the game is explore player housing to see what designs people have come up with. In my experience the vast majority of people who get a large don't do anything with it, which is pretty funny given how much people complain about not being able to get one.

I have an apartment and an Island Sanctuary and I like to chill in either one while I wait for duties to pop. It's just nice to sit somewhere without possibly being pinged by someone, or having my chat spammed by numerious promos It's also nice to be a space that I made.
