After all day of farming i finally got full set of AOL and trying to cosplay my WOL but i just noticed that AOL that we get from ARR raid is not the same as elidibus using when he transformed to WOL armor's details is really different from him lol...

Yeah the colors are really muted compared to the ARR armor. It's a shame because you can get his weapons from the extreme trial but not the armor to match.

Both the Armour of Light and Elidibus's fanboy boss form are based on Yoshitaka Amano's artwork of the WoL from the very first Final Fantasy, specifically, this artwork, although the Armour of Light is more authentic. Also it was added to the game long before it was decided to have Elidibus take that form for a boss fight, hence the more vibrant colours, Elidibus instead warping the image for his own ends for his trial battle.

Incidentally, the true helm for that set was not dropped in Laybrinth of the Ancients, it's a bonus item that comes with the Collector's Edition of ARR (the LotA drop for tank is a circlet), which is still attainable if you upgrade your ARR copy to the 'Digitial Collector's Edition' on the Mogstation.

Our armour of light is reminiscent of the knight class change armour from dissidia. Elidibus is wearing the base class warrior variant.

Also, there’s a dyeable version available in pvp (minus the helmet unfortunately).
