Oh don't worry, I'm going to be playing 2.0, I'm just not going to be blinded by pretty "FF lights". Since I'm a "white knight" I shouldn't be able to realize that they're making this a standard MMO to try to attract the general MMO gaming population, rather than trying to do something unique since people consider that as "niche."

I think that's just the unfortunate timing of XIV (2012) a market oversaturated with MMORPGs.
