    MSQ Shaken Resolve Crash

The MSQ quest "Shaken Resolve" is consistently crashing my game with no error codes after speaking to tataru. I have also had this issue when trying to complete the quest "Manic Pixie Dream Realm."

I have updated my OS, updated drivers, ran memtest, reinstalled the game, and attempted after turning display settings to minimum.

    - Platform: Steam
    - Error Codes or Messages (If any): No error code
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any): None
    - Frequency at which error occurs: Every time

    SOLUTION

I have found the solution for this and it seems this is an issue on the dev's side.

TLDR: Game install must be on C: drive

After troubleshooting, it seems in order to solve the issue with certain cutscenes crashing the game with no error, the game must be installed on the main drive of the computer. If the name hasn't been changed, this will be the C: drive for most people. Why this fixes it? No clue. There shouldn't be any communication issues when a game AND launcher are installed in the same location, especially when the initial drive was internal as well. This seems like an oversight on the backend. I also tested every piece of hardware in my rig and had no errors.

Other steps taken that did not resolve issue:
    -Restore/Reinstall on non-C: drive
    -All drivers updated
    -Bios updated
    -Enabled XMP
    -Overclocked CPU
    -Rolled back GPU drivers

    Greetings AyeClay,

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue you've reported has caused.*We are happy to hear that that you were able to resolve this issue. Generally speaking, it is advised to have the game installed on Drive C: whenever possible as sometimes having it installed on other drives could cause issues. However, and we'll gladly note down your feedback about this as well and pass it along to the appropriate parties.

This thread will be moved to the 'Closed Concerns' sub forum as a result.
