And you ignored half of my rationale, by the way. It's not just that it makes magic bullets. It's that you get the job from the guy who gives it to you. The lunchbox IS the job class, in other words.

I didn't ignore it, I just didn't want the quote to be a mile long and it was the same point as the rest of your post which I included. The response is the same either way, lore justifications do not trump gameplay whichever way you want to slice it.

I don't think it's silly at all to want the defining instrument of a job to be what is displayed on the job.

Then don't use the option to hide it. Problem solved. No reason for everyone else to have to deal with it just because your selective scruples prohibit you from doing so.
