Switching platforms

Is it possible to switch from PC to Xbox. I know I would need to purchase the Xbox version of the game which I plan on doing but can I link my current account to my Xbox account is what I'm looking to do.

I play the native PC version (non-steam) and the PS5 version and I can swap between whenever I want.

When you launch the game first time in Xbox you will be asked to link it to an existing account or create a new one. You’ll want to link it to the same SE account that you’re using on your other system.

Playstation and PC players only have to pay the FF14 subscription fees to play; but from what I hear, Xbox players have to pay for the FF14 subscription as well as Xbox Live.

M$ being greedy. Although, having Gamepass isn't a terrible idea but if you only play this game, It's a scummy thing. Same thing when it comes to the XIV Coins. I'm lucky to play on PC as well so I don't need to use those for my sub.

Hmm, check on addons for xbox, while ps version doesnt need ps+ to play, they do give a free atheryte teleport spot if you do have ps+. So wonder if there's something like that on xbox version since it needs the premium sub.

There isn’t, not yet at least. Only addon for this game is coins.
