Dawntrail Complete Collectors Edition

Hi sorry for maybe a weird question. Currently switching platforms for XIV and it seems like buying a complete edition is the best bet for dawntrail. I haven't seen any information on the pre orders about any dawntrail Complete edition. I was wondering when the Endwalker Complete edition was released and what was the USD price for the collectors version at launch? Trying to decide if it's better to just wait or to buy the starter edition and pre order the dawntrail collectors edition.

The complete edition usually goes on sale soon after the expansion launches for about the same price the complete edition usually goes for.

Do the pre-order bonuses matter to you for Dawntrail? If so, buy the starter edition and pre-order Dawntrail. If not, then just wait for the complete edition to become available.

Historically, the complete edition is updated to include the new expansion before the new expansion release. Its price typically doesn't go up (beyond returning to the base price after being on sale for a while because the previous expansion is coming to an end); however, you do not get early access or pre-order bonuses with a complete edition, so you would have to wait until official launch to play on that platform at all if you got the complete edition.

I'm in the same boat OP, but with the 60% off sale on the complete edition on PS5, it would be silly not to get the complete edition. They will bundle DT with the complete edition eventually, but then you're missing out on the pre-order stuff. FOMO at work, and ...it's working
