    How do I play xbox account on pc

    So I own ff14 on both PC(endwalker) and xbox (endwalker). Paid for both, although PC was bought years ago. When I try to log into the game on PC using my ACTIVE xbox account it gives me an error saying I don't have the right license.
    How do i set up my xbox account to allow me to play on PC also? This has been the most confusing a frustrating thing I've ever done with a video game! There MUST have been an easier way to do this..

    FYI when I got the beta for xbox I linked it to a new account and didn't know I couldn't unlink it until weeks later. That is why I have 2 accounts. But i leveld my new dude on xbox pretty far and don't want to have to start over on PC.

    There isn't a way to unlink Microsoft and Square Enix accounts, and now you have 2 different accounts.

    If you want to play on PC with your Xbox account, you have to buy the game for that account as well.

    Lumina has the right of it, you'll have to pick up a game license for the PC version and add it to the SE/FFXIV account you're using to play on XBox -- either that, or link your older SE/FFXIV account to a different XBox Live account, and (re)purchase an XBox game license for that one.

    Either way, kind of a bummer, but yeah, that's what'll let you play one or the other (or both if you don't mind shelling out) account(s) on boht PC and XBox.
