I'm holding off until we get a showcase of the job changes for Dawn Trail.

I understand there wont be any massive gameplay overhauls until 8.0 (too far out, imo), but if the gameplay is an unchanged continuation of the stagnate trash-heap that is ShB/EW gameplay with another 2-min meta oGCD capstone skill, I'll find another game to play.

I was pretty excited about Dawntrail, but the Pax panel left me felling pretty unwanted and reconsidering my subscription at all.

Website says the earring only applies up to level 90, so won't benefit Viper or Picto

Viper and Pictomancer start at level 80, so benefit for 10 levels

I haven't heard anything about what was said at the panel besides the actual announcements. Did something happen?

I am going to pre-order the standard digital version. I enjoyed Endwalker quite a bit and I do like what they have shown for Dawntrail. And even though I just noticed that the earrings will be quite useless for me, I still like their look so thats nice too.

The earrings and the Zidane minion are preorder only. Previous preorder bonuses have never been made available again, and we all know how SE loves their patterns.

Ahhh, I mean if you like your minion collecting fair, and yah the earrings are nice.

If you preorder DT and you do not have say ShB or EW you will not be granted access to those expansions until DT actually launches. This will be the case on ANY platform you decide to play on.

I'll get the digital collector's edition, but I have no interest in some cheap model of their idea of the WOL with a couple of swords. It couldn't possibly resonate with me less so they can keep their physical stuff.

Maybe if they depicted one of the major characters from the expansion instead of a male WOL, I'd go for the physical one again. But it hasn't been interesting to me since at least Heavensward.

I might have been tempted by the Midgardsormr statue for Heavensward, but I wasn't playing the game yet, and I'm sure as hell not paying the aftermarket markup for it.
