Dawntrail Drops Support for Intel Mac

I am on a iMac 2020 intel. If FFXIV is dropping support for Intel Mac, does it mean we cannot play dawntrail anymore? If we were to switch to bootcamp windows, it means we need to buy a new window licence? Will FFXIV offer player like us a opportunity to switch licence?

Maybe you can play it with Linux + Wine if you install it on your Mac. But i do not really know.

You will need a Windows license unfortunately.

I don't think it's FFXIV's responsibility to swap your license because your hardware is becoming unsupported.

If you swap to Windows, buy a windows copy of Dawntrail and you'll be set to go as it will give the previous expansions when released.

You can use Windows without buying a license but you will have a small watermark in the bottom corner of your screen saying its unactivated.

Keys can be gotten for $15 or less though.
