Forgotten Lore you like to see explored?

Things like Gelmorra or that broken Bridge at the Azem Steppe, etc.

I'm still waiting for a Gelmorra/Duskwight Elezen Variant Dungeon & Lore.

Or anything from 1.0 turning into a Variant Dungeon; how about getting access to West Shroud again? That's another one I can think of.

I think that was connected with the retconning linkage to
Myths of the Realm, and possibly why Migardsormr was guarding that large font of Aether

1.0 Version might had a different idea concerning Primals & some unnamed Primal that stopped Gaius, last comment about it was back in 2018 by Koji.

    The 4th astral era

The first and second astral era’s were mostly primitive so origins and what records did exist were destroyed by allag in the third astral era, the 5th astral era was the rise of the 3 great magi nations (mhach, amdapor and nyrm) and the 6th astral era is the beginning of modern history. However we know absolutely nothing about the 4th astral era.

No records exist of it, no society is known to originate in it, all we know is that the 5th umbral calamity that ended the 4th astral era was ice aspected, rejoined the 6th shard to the source and the spread of ice allowed the miqote tribes to migrate away from their ancestral home in south central ilsabard

Hellsguard Roegadyn, and the Abalathian hinterlands as a whole, really deserve to be explored and fleshed out.

Nagyn/Origin, which is still labeled pretty clearly on the world map, also still really intrigue me. Let us learn more about the roegadyn origin mythos!

Ilsabard is still mostly covered by clouds, just saying. Heck, they dropped Corvos so many times in EW I thought it'd be an important location for a later patch/expansion.

so apparently the only option that doesn't "stress the newbies" is either pressing 1211111111, or do nothing at all.

They have actually been very thorough at explaining everything in either the MSQ or sidequests. There isn't much left to explain, which is why they need to create new lore now.

I tend to think of the other Azem Steppe area as the PvP area.

I'd like to at least have some of the old lingering 1.0 Gridanian plot threads left hanging and never resolved finally get an explanation or resolution, although it's more personal preference given I started in 1.0 in Gridania as well as ARR and always wanted to have some closure there.

    Things such as:

Confirmation the Hermit of the Wood really was Khrimm all grown up.
An explanation how and why Lousioix and the Sharlayans thought Gridania was preparing to wage open warfare against the Empire ten years before the Calamity (it's why Yda and Papalymo were originally sent to Gridania in the first place, to investigate these claims and to "inspect Gridania's military preperations")
Whether the 'living shadow' that was attacking Gridanian patrols in the Black Shroud really was Dunstan as a Wildling or, as more likely, an Ascian stirring up trouble
For that matter, exactly what happened to Dunstan after he was cleansed of his woodsin - presumedly he went on to something of importance in Gridania given he now has a watchtower spire named after him - but he just... disappeared from the story
What the renegades/veterans of Ala Mhigo really were doing in the Gelmorran Ruins - part of a secret Gridanian mission to lure the Garleans into an arboreal trap where the forest is unleashed on them?

It's all just still so murky and ARR barely if anything touched on any of it (although at least one Gridanian mystery has now finally been cleared - what the elementals really are (
they're really Ancient familars that 'communicate through information-laden aether'
), so I'd love to get some closure there.
