SE chat profanity filter on xbox wanted to give you opinion.

Dear Square enix,
While I did bring this to attention about xbox version of game Final fantasy 14 profanity Filter. But I am glad I bring this attention to you and I spoke with Xbox support as will. Maybe you guys can make update for xbox version of FF14. But there is slim mount of small bugs in xbox version of ff14. Everything runs really will on it too. I know you guys are also busy with dawn trail. I read on reddit people are having ??? marks in chat on xbox. But I think its both xbox and Xbox version of game. But you just need small update adjustment in game to help address xbox final fanstasy 14 chat profanity filter problem. I also wanted give you more information too. I test xbox version of game runs great and smooth also everyone's happy jobs work ok and you can see my friends from ps and pc on game. But small Fix is chat logs on xbox series S and X version of game which is chat profanity filter only on xbox and makes???? marks in cwls shell's, worlds, emotes and RP as will in xbox final Fantasy 14 version. Hope you guys can fix it with small final fantasy 14 small update.

The chat filter on Xbox is a bit too extreme.
I have both Xbox settings and in-game profanity filter off and yet the filter affects the in-game chat system.
It also triggers on normal in-game terms as well as words that are completely harmless.
Example: The word ‚night‘ gets censored to ‚???ht‘
It would be good if SE could work with MSFT to adjust the filter (or allow us to completely turn it off, if we do choose).

I have XIV on PC as well, that's where I initially got into the game. The function to turn off the filter on there works and literally I could go from playing on PC to my Xbox within a minute of each other and suddenly I cant say "so????ing" cause the game things I am secretly talking about 'meth'!?!? That's a bit silly

Hope its a bug and not deliberate cause they were worried about Xbox players sayin mean words. Fear of the Call of Duty and Halo lobbies descending upon XIV chats across the globe

Hahaha yeah! It’s kind of silly!
I‘m also sure that the filter doesn’t affect other players on other platforms. So even if we were to say something offensive… other players on other platforms would see it, while Xbox players won‘t?

Yeah final fantasy 14 developers will have make special update for Xbox version of game to stop Xbox system chat filter interference bug. Everyone wants have full final fantasy 14 experience it’s not just game but community game for everyone. But besides chat log ???? Bug problem. But everything else runs smoothly on Xbox. They just need make update to Xbox version of final fantasy 14 to deal with chat logs ????? on Xbox. But once that’s done and Xbox version of final fantasy 14 log chat is fix Xbox players. Also again thank you final fantasy 14 developers for final fantasy 14 on xbox. Hope you can fix chat logs on fix final fantasy 14 xbox chat logs.

Yeah, it is absolutely ridiculous that my FC mates will say something and I have to ask them to rephrase it because the overzealous chat filter which I can't turn off via FFXIV settings or Xbox settings is disrupting my communication.

Yes please fix this ?? ?oon as possible. It prevents regular communication using absolutely normal words.
You can't even write in-game place names like Th????an. Please do so????ing about it, I can't sleep at ???ht.
