Getting food buffs takes time because your character needs to acquire the taste for it. Stats gained vary depending on a hidden effect that determines if your character was in the mood for that kind of food today.
You have to turn in your previous expac relic to proceed with the new one like Heavensward (base>zeta>animated>lux>antiquated>physeos) and no, you cant skip or start in another expac relic step.
You can only have two jobs active at a time. You need to pay a 1000 gil fee every time you change jobs, which you do simply by finding the NPC in one of the three main cities. After paying the fee, he'll reset your jobstones, and you can pick which do jobs to use. This job change fee increases each time you use it.
Wait, that's just World of Warcraft you say? Oh.
Didn't WoW eventually do away with charging for changing specs? I haven't played since Legion, but I thought they dropped that. You can only have two jobs active at a time. There should be a trial in this game that does an attack on a random party member.
Another player has to do a mechanic to prevent you from being hit.
If you are hit you change to another race or gender.
That effect is permanent and you need to use a fantasia to undo it.
Another:
The game has a number of quests were you have different scenes with different scions.
Each time you choose one that scion gets a hidden point in affection.
At the end of the quest that character get's posessed and you are forced to kill them.
That quest cannot be skipped, you have to do it and the devs go out of their way to implement it at random so you can't have a guide for that.
Bring Teleport in line with Return to also have a 15 minute cooldown between uses.
roguelike dungeons, if you die at any boss:
1. A random gear piece break
2. You start over from the first trash pull
3. You lose any items you already got from this run
The game really needs more interaction in the housing and PvP sector. Being able to go into other houses and steal furniture would be awesome. We could sell that furniture on the market board or place it in our own house.
I know this is not easy to implement, but if housing areas were made into PvP zones, we could even have entire PvP battles between players attacking or defending their belongings.
We could even have defense mechanisms as furnishings that debuff and attack players in the area.
