Notably, individuals possess the capability to access sensitive user information via platforms like The Lodestone, thereby warranting urgent action. As it stands, certain personal details, including Data Center, Server name, and housing information, remain publicly accessible. It is imperative to empower users with the ability to toggle the visibility of such information, thus safeguarding their privacy and fostering a more secure gaming environment.

Enhancing Friend List Security

The current functionality of the friend list feature in FFXIV presents a potential safety concern, particularly regarding individuals who have been blocked by users. Despite being blocked, individuals on the friend list can still view the status of the user who has blocked them. This oversight poses a risk to user safety and privacy.

To address this issue promptly and ensure the safety of our users, it is imperative to implement immediate improvements to the friend list feature. Specifically, adjustments should be made to prevent individuals who have been blocked from accessing any information or updates from the user who has blocked them, including status updates.
